South Korea suffers from misogyny, bad treatment of women. Publicly festering many years now, the complex situation got highly recognized with the creepy murder (17 May 2016) of a young woman in Gangnam (강남역 화장실 살인사건 추모 운동) and later via the 4B movement 4비운동 asserting female abilities   4B:

비연애  Biyeonae = No dating men                   ❤️

비섹스  Bisekseu = No hetero sex

비혼  Bihon = No hetero marriage

비출산  Bichulsan = No childbirth

US Women have now reportedly begun wielding 4B measures to limit bullying & chauvinism, similar to ancient Lysistrata of Greece. Fight!   Good Luck!

Change of Focus

These blog posts have become too sporadic, as I've instead spent energies on social media posts such as on Facebook. It is also troubling to work carefully on political & policy commentary which has no discernible external effect.

Yet the process has an effect on me.

Nonetheless, I shall continue to strive to broaden my topics.

 What's an Occupying (Colonial) Power?

Here are five possible ways to describe the occupying (colonial) power, using different synonyms or perspectives:

• The invader or aggressor that imposes its authority & culture on the native population.

• The exploiter or oppressor that extracts resources & profits from the colonized land and people.

• The dominator or hegemon that establishes its supremacy & influence over the subjugated territory and its inhabitants.

• The ruler or administrator that governs the occupied territory according to its own laws & interests.

• The colonizer or settler that displaces or assimilates the indigenous population and claims the land as its own.
