Pity to Forget

Soon most Americans won't care much about people of the Ukraine, as with now discounted US conflicts involving Iraq, Afghanistan, Panama, Vietnam, Kosovo, etc. Simply, we're seduced to finance foreign intervention (again) until militarists get havoc funds, then media stories & sympathies disappear. Every day meanwhile, miserable fellow Americans are ignored.
